We make sure your hiring process is
as pleasant as possible. When we receive
your call or email we will contact
you to make appointment at your convenience
time in you home with no obligation
to you. We will meet with you and
your family to explain our services
and the process of hiring a caregiver
and general information about caregivers
we provide.
If you are satisfied with our services
you will then fill out the
family application form
with which the process of hiring caregiver
is initiated.
On our second visit we will provide
you with resumes of caregivers that
includes local candidates (subject
to availability) and candidates from
overseas. If you choose to hire caregiver
from overseas we will arrange to have
candidate telephone interview from
the resumes you select. After the
telephone interview and candidate
selection, we will let the candidate
know of your decision. Overseas caregivers
are hired under a
Live-in Caregiver Program.
Once the candidate is chosen you
will make an offer of employment and
Live-in Caregiver application to Service
Canada for obtaining Labour Market
Opinion (LMO). You will also appoint
MAGNUS Resources as third party representative
in processing the documents.
We will assist you with all the documentation
with no cost to you.
You will receive a call from officer
processing your LMO from Service Canada
to make sure you are the employer
hiring foreign caregiver. Process
of LMO usually takes about 2 to 4
weeks. You and as third party representative
we in MAGNUS Resources will receive
a copy of LMO.
Once we have the LMO we will send
it to the candidate along with your
offer of employment and other necessary
documents to process the Temporary
Residence Visa (TRV) at Canadian Consulate
of Embassy in country of caregiver’s
residence.
After receiving TRV candidate is
ready to come to Canada and be employed
at your home.
We will assist you in payroll preparation,
again, at no cost to you.
